Arco Iris

This collection of paintings shows off the best works by the six British and one German students of teacher Marie Fischer

Visitors to the Pilar de la Horadada Casa de Cultura can enjoy the ‘Arco Iris’ (Rainbow) exhibition of 68 works of art until the 6th of July.

Oil paintings, watercolours and acrylics are the techniques chosen by these seven women who have made art out of landscapes, floral motifs and references to some of the great treasures of the history of painting. There are also some pieces by their teacher Marie Fischer.

One of the students is no less than 92 years old and did not want to miss the opportunity to learn the secrets and techniques of painting and is participating in an exhibition for the first time in her life.

The show was inaugurated by Councillor for culture Benjamín Fraile and can be visited at the Casa de Cultura from Monday to Saturday between 8:30am until 2:30pm and 3:30pm until 9:30pm.
